Here is a somewhat old Hengstenberg/Anker (presumably) crank machine from the 1920s. It is in very good condition though not without flaws. It was likely imported through the Silberberg firm, headed for the UK market. Anker-Werke AG was a firm also in Bielefeld where the Hengstenberg factory produced this and other machines and I believe Anker was a supplier of parts.
The script on the clutch is in German, English, French, and Cyrillic (for Russia and satellites). The name 'Gloria' implies the target market was the UK.
